The Walking Dead: The Complete Third Season DVD

A must have for Walking Dead fans, this 3rd season shows the gang adjusting to life in the new home (prison) and also introducing the character known as "The Governor". One of the best seasons so far, this plays a pivotal role in the series as so many new twists and turns are brought in for the characters to face. As if the walkers themselves weren't enough to handle already. Even if you watched every episode, this DVD set is definitely one to add. I've never been one for listening to commentaries while watching a show or movie, but if that's your thing then there are some on here for you to enjoy. "Fear the dead, fight the living!"

Batman vs. Joker Throwdown Game by Funko

If you're starting to get hit with the post-Summer blues (or if you are still THAT bothered by Ben Affleck getting the role of Batman for the next Superman film), I want to mention something that may be just what you need. The fine folks at Funko have come up with a board game pitting Batman and Joker against each other in Throwdown! This game comes in a sweet looking case of the Caped Crusader (see above), and includes 2.5" vinyl Batman and Joker figures (very cool!), along with the board and cards to play the game. Being a person who appreciates a good board game smackdown, and also a huge Batman fan, this is the kind of game to bring out on a rainy day (or any day!) for a fun challenge! Thanks again to Funko for releasing a product to satisfy the inner child in me. Definitely check it out!
Life has been pretty hectic lately with a lot of changes going on, but there's always time for new Funko Pop Figures! Seriously, these "toys" are the best things since, well, Pop Figures! I know more adults collecting these than kids. Well technically, adults are big kids, but anyway! I've loved these things since I first got introduced to them a couple years ago. I love how they basically have figures for most of my favorite shows/movies (except The Lost Boys)!!! The latest ones I've had the chance to check out and take in their awesomeness are the Walking Dead Series 2 figures and Iron Man 3 (see below). If you're a fan of the Walking Dead or Iron Man 3, do yourself a favor and check these out. Just take a look at the images and see how cool these are!

FRANKENWEENIE - Blu-ray review

Well, Tim Burton is back, this time for FRANKENWEENIE. In my opinion, animated feature films are his expertise. Now I did love his version of Batman, and some of his other films back in the day. But most of his others have been hit or misses. But when it comes to his animated films, I have been a fan of every one. This leads me to Frankenweenie. This latest film has him delivering a story in a darker tone (literally black and white) to give you that classic scary movie vibe to it, yet retaining that lovable quality his other animated films have. Not without its flaws, this film overall is a hit in my book and continued his run of good animated films. I think it's a step up from Corpse Bride actually. Now that the film is out on Blu-ray, it is done in the high quality format that Disney mostly delivers with its releases. Seriously, check it out for yourself and you'll see what I mean. There are some movies you watch on Blu-ray that you can't really notice a difference. But not this one. You'll be satisfied. And did I say it was also a good film too?
