How many of us pause to realize the failures and the fools, etc among us are who Jesus embraces and desires friendship with?
Not so He can preach at or to us. not to 'lift us up' to some Polly Anna emotional existence to be based on fly-by-night experiences. No, Jesus just wants to hang.
There's a lot of folks who just want an ear, not judgment. Honesty, not elitism.
Someone just to listen to their hurt, wounds, anger, whatever--not someone on a mission to "fix" others.
