He-Man!

In celebration of all things He-Man (one of the greatest animated series ever), I want to mention two awesome DVD sets.

The first is He-Man And The Masters Of The Universe Season One, Volume 2.

I reviewed Volume 1 earlier this year, and this Volume 2 collection is a great follow up to that set. There are 32 episodes that continue the epic saga, as He-Man and the Masters of the Universe battle against Skeletor and his crew. With a running time of 688 minutes, Volume 2 is perfect for any fan of the old-school Masters Of The Universe cartoons. There are hours and hours of showtime here to relive this series. The DVD format also makes the cartoons look as good as new. Definitely check this out if you appreciate this classic animated show.

The next one is He-Man And The Masters Of The Universe Volume 2.

Not to be confused with the original, this version of Masters Of The Universe is a modern series that revived the older one. Volume 2 contains the second 13 episodes of the show with a running time of 286 minutes. Maybe I’m biased because I grew up on the older series, so I’ll always enjoy the original. But without comparing the two, this is an exciting series on its own. Lots of action and some great animation make it a series worth checking out. The battle continues on as He-Man and his friends stand in the way of Skeletor’s attempt to rule over the planet!
